The staff was amicable and exceptional. The breakfast was delicious and marvellous, it included biscuits, bangers and bread.

I loved this Victorian hotel, its location and amenities. Comfortable bedroom. Only 20 minutes walk from Windermere centre.

I loved food and drinks. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and it was great having a fridge, an iron and a TV set. I had breads and bangers for breakfast. Lovely gardens on the territory.

Nothing too much trouble, I would recomand, I appreciated it. Everything was great, delightful staff, fab location short walk to the shops and restaurants, Bowness and Windermere village and Windermere. There were delicious slices of fresh bread and bangers in the morning.

The property was tidy and well presented. The breakfast was nice hot with homemade muffins and good coffee, as for instance. They made my stay warm. Fantastic customer service provided too

Really really nice stay, lovely staff, luxury rooms. The venue was set in the central position. Besides, the area was very quite, next to a family run Art gallery. The vegetarian breakfast was perfect, there were bread and muffins.

We enjoyed the outstandingly helpful staff and the location was super. Cafe bar was superb and spotless. The beach was beautiful. It had all needed for a honeymoon trip in Windermere.

The breakfast was awesome with muffins and fresh bread, the bed was large. I enjoyed my room - excellent and welcoming. Its location was strategic, near bus service and restaurants too. Enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel.

The place is relaxing and clean. It's set in a local area.

Spotless unit. Next to the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. For lunch or dinner go to Paisley's Restaurant, located really close to the hotel. Moreover, we could park our car onsite.

I loved my stay at this luxury hotel. A reasonable base for celebrating anniversary in Windermere. You can have potato, cakes and muffins for breakfast. I booked a luxury double room and it was immaculate, comfy beds. Helpful owner running the property. Will be back...

after the arrival, we met host, who was wonderful. we were given a suite on arrival, it was big. would stay here again when in windermere, we did not want to leave there.

A great selection of food at breakfast, such as tea and biscuits. The bed was super with bed pillows and pillows. Free parking was possible on-site.

All was good.

Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like The Log Cabin that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Welcome base for trip in Windermere. We greatly enjoyed ivythwaite lodge.
